Modernism refers to a global movement in society and culture that from the early decades of the twentieth century sought a new alignment with the experience and values of modern industrial life.  Characteristics. Genetic selection is when people decide the traits of a person by selecting favourable genetics creating ‘perfect’ people, much like modernism architecture they are creating people using new and innovative technologies and creating forms that should follow function.
